After you install Service Pack 1 for Microsoft Windows 7, the Adobe CreatePDF Desktop Printer no longer functions.
When you try to add your login information manually, you receive the following error:
"You do not have access to the printer, please try a different user name or password."
Adobe is aware of the issue and has partnered with Microsoft to have it addressed in a hot fix.
The hot fix is now available from Microsoft at the following location for download and installation:
Installation of Service Pack 1 on Windows 7 updates the inetpp.dll file with a different version of the file. That version doesn't transmit authentication data to Adobe's servers. This issue affected any IPP (Internet Printing Protocol) that uses authentication, including Adobe CreatePDF Desktop Printer.
The default inetpp.dll version: 6.1.7600.16385
The SP1 inetpp.dll version: 6.1.7601.17514
