When you render and export a QuickTime file from Adobe After Effects, the following codecs are not available:

- Cinepak
- Component Video
- Graphics
- H.261
- H.263
- Motion JPEG A
- Motion JPEG B
- Planar RGB
- Sorenson Video
- Sorenson Video 3
- TGA
- TIFF
- Video

To enable legacy codecs for QuickTime 7.x on WindowsVista:
The procedures in this document are based on the default interface of Windows Vista. If the interface is customized, some procedures might vary. For example, a commonly encountered difference is the navigation to Control Panel from the Start menu: You might navigate Start > Settings > Control Panel instead of Start > Control Panel.
The Apple QuickTime 7.4 update added an "Enable encoding using legacy codecs" option to QuickTime preferences. If this preference is not enabled, then some codecs will not be available when you encode QuickTime output.
