Upon installing Macromedia ColdFusion MX, and accessing the ColdFusion Administrator, the images are broken. This TechNote explains how to resolve this issue.
When installing ColdFusion MX in standalone mode (using the ColdFusion MX internal web server), the default location for the ColdFusion MX internal web server's web root iscf_root\wwwroot. The images are broken if you change the ColdFusion MX configuration from using the ColdFusion MX internal web server to using the Microsoft IIS web server, and where the Microsoft IIS web server's webroot is a directory other thancf_root\wwwroot. By default, the Microsoft IIS web servers webroot is Inetpub\wwwroot.
