ODBC access in Macromedia ColdFusion MX is provided through DataDirect SequeLink Server software. An update to the SequeLink socket server resolves some problems with hangs or crashes under load.
The issues fixed in this release (SP11) are:
- A redesign of the poll interrupt mechanism prevents the SequeLink server from hanging occasionally under heavy load.
- When using output parameters with type SQL_BIT (Boolean), the SequeLink Server for ODBC Socket and the DataDirect Sybase Wire Protocol driver as backend ODBC driver, returned the error: [ODBC Socket][DataDirect][ODBC Sybase Wire Protocol driver]Sybase does not allow NULL values in 'bit' columns. Error in parameter 1.
Note: This patch is not compatible with the ColdFusion MX 6.1 ODBC Server unless the SequeLink ODBC server has been upgraded to version 5.4.
