You can launch the Adobe Application Manager from any Adobe application (CS5 or later) that AAM manages by going to Help > Updates.
The Adobe Application Manager also silently checks for updates periodically. When an update is available, the Adobe logo appears in your System Tray (Windows) / Menu Bar (Mac OS). The logo goes away when applications are up-to-date. You can change the applications that AAM checks for updates by clicking the Preferences button.
