Images don't open in your Adobe Creative Suite point product when you drag them onto the product icon in the dock from Safari, and you have an image open in that program.
This issue was solved in Mac OS X 10.6.2. You can update Mac OS X 10.6.2 by going to this location:
http://www.apple.com/support/snowleopard/
This issue can occur in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Fireworks, and possibly other Creative Suite point products, as well as other non-Adobe programs.
