When you run the Adobe Creative Suite 3 or Adobe Photoshop CS3 installer, the Adobe Setup dialog box disappears after it finishes initializing. The installer does not continue.
- Download the Adobe Flash Player uninstaller.
- Download then run the CS5 Cleaner Tool and select the CS3/CS4 Remove All option. For information on using the tool, see Resolve installation problems with CS5 Cleaner Tool (cpsid_82947).
Continue troubleshooting the issue using the information in Creative Suite 3 and point product CS3 installer silently quits (Windows XP and Vista) (kb402048).
If reinstalling does not allow you to run the Suite, then contact Technical Support. The support agent sometimes asks you to upload installer log files.
Log files for all Creative Suite applications and suites are placed in a single directory. The log file is named after the application that is being installed (for example, "Adobe Creative Suite 3 Web Premium 1.0.log.gz"). You can find the Adobe Creative Suite 3 product installation logs in the following locations by default:
- Windows: Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Installers\
- Mac OS: /Library/Logs/Adobe/Installers/
