The following are the known issues in upgrading Adobe Captivate 4 projects to Adobe Captivate 5:
After upgrading projects to Adobe Captivate 5, a sequence type question does not get shuffled at runtime.
Operating Systems: Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Mac OS
Go to Edit > Preferences > Quiz > Settings, and select Shuffle Answers.
Publish the quiz. Verify the output to see if the answers for the sequence type question is shuffled.
Note: When you select Shuffle Answers in the Preferences, all the multiple choice and matching questions in the project too get shuffled.
After upgrading projects to Adobe Captivate 5, the following issues are observed with text captions:
- If lines were indented in Adobe Captivate 4, they may not be indented incorrectly in Adobe Captivate 5.
- Line spacing may not be exactly the same as in the Adobe Captivate 4 project.
- Font sizes may be a little smaller than the ones in the Adobe Captivate 4 project.
Operating Systems: Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Mac OS
Tweak the properties of the text captions using the Property Inspector in Adobe Captivate 5. You can also copy the text captions from the Adobe Captivate 4 project and paste them in the Adobe Captivate 5 project.
Widgets may be missing after upgrading an Adobe Captivate 4 project to Adobe Captivate 5.
Operating Systems: Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Mac OS
If Widgets were copied and pasted in the Adobe Captivate 4 project, then such widgets do not appear at edit time as well as runtime when the project is upgraded to Adobe Captivate 5.
Insert the widgets again in the Adobe Captivate 5 project.
