FB-FC workflow:
FBG-2462: FBFC Workflows initiated from FB should be blocked (and user warned) when FC has a workflow going on with other products (like Illustrator or Photoshop).
FBG-2623: Dialog Box in FC remains open, even after the project closes and the focus comes back to FB after clicking Resume or Cancel.
TH-13651 Flash Catalyst overwrites SDK version on save (4.5.1 becomes 4.5)
Installation and Launch:
FBG-1669: Flash Builder Installation fails on a folder with special characters
FB-25951: Install fails when installing to folder with double-byte / high-ASCII characters in path (Windows only)
FBG-1920 : On Mac OS, the plug-in utility doesn't always launch. This issue usually happens after several repeated install or uninstall cycles of Flash Builder. To resolve this issue, do the following:
- Plug-in version only: delete the file /{user home}/Library/Preferences/ .com.zerog.registry.xml
- Plug-in version only: also delete this file if found - {root volume}/Library/Preferences /.com.zerog.registry.xml
Localization:
FB-30837 : Project with double-byte and high-ASCII project names don't run
FBG-2817 : AS Mobile project cannot run on device in RUS OS
FB-30840: FB cannot export release "Signed native installer" when FB was installed in a double-bytes folder or named with double-byte characters
Mobile: Run / Debug / Package
Before running or installing an application built with Flash Builder 4.5 or Flash Builder 4.5.1 on a device, do the following:
- Uninstall any older prerelease version of the AIR runtime from the device.
- Uninstall older versions of your application that were created with previous versions of Flash Builder "Burrito" from the device.
FBG-2817 Packaging does not work if the package or package path contains non-ASCII characters

Profiler:
FB-23384: Loitering Objects that contain entries for user interface Components Show Zero Object References. In some cases, loitering objects display contains entries for UIComponent that when double-clicked lists 0 paths. This issue makes it difficult to determine if profiler is not showing a path that could be a leak. Similar bugs FB-12804 and FB-12719.
FB-25184: Profiler does not show back references in AIR
FB-30990 Profiler reporting differently between 4.0 and 4.5 when analyzing Modules
FB-31095 Application throw RTE while profiling when the same app works perfectly in release / debug mode
Design View:
FB-30900 Design View broken if AsyncListView is used in MXML
FB-PHP: If Flash Builder 4.5 (not PHP) is already installed on the machine, and the product (Flash Builder for PHP 4.5) is then installed in a different location, the user gets the "FB is installed" dialog. After clicking OK, the installation rolls back and removes both Flash Builder and Flash Builder for PHP On Mac OSX, checking for updates fails. As a workaround start the product from a command line with following parameters: $ </path/to/app/file>/Contents/MacOS/Adobe Flash Builder 4.5" -configuration "/Applications/Adobe Flash Builder 4.5/eclipse/configuration/" Where </path/to/app/file> is usually: "/Applications/Adobe Flash Builder 4.5/Adobe Flash Builder 4.5.app" PHP Service classes can not be introspected if they are namespaced (with PHP 5.3 syntax). As a workaround use the regular class declaration to define your PHP Service. CS5.5 users: If you are also already using Creative Suite 5.5, you will need to enter a special trial serial number to use Flash Builder 4.5 for PHP. Get your trial serial number here .

GB18030 support for Windows XP
To support the display of all characters of the Chinese standard GB18030 on Windows XP systems, Adobe recommends the installation of the Microsoft GB18030 Support Package. This support package updates an XP system with, among other things, fonts and input-method-editors (IMEs) to correctly support GB18030. The support package is available as a download from the Microsoft website.
