System requirements
Your system must meet the following requirements to run Ovation:
-- 600 MHz (non-SSE processors not supported), 1.2 GHz recommended
-- Windows 2000 or XP
-- 256 MB RAM (512 MB recommended)
-- Video display cards: Any Intel, ATI Radeon or nVidia GeForce graphic solution with 32 MB of graphics memory. Recommended video cards (also see list of tested video cards below) are:
- ATI Radeon 9800 class or better
- NVidia GeForce 6600 class or better
- 64 MB of graphics memory
Note: 1024 x 768 minimum monitor screen resolution is required to run Ovation.
-- CD-ROM drive
-- 300 MB of available hard drive space
-- Microsoft PowerPoint 2002, XP, or 2003. ( PowerPoint 2000 is not supported. BETA and Release Candidate (RC) versions are not supported.)
Additional compatibility information
Windows 2000
Due to a driver incompatibility, at this time, Ovation does not support running under Windows 2000 with a GeForce 2 graphics card. This only effects this specific card and only under Windows 2000. All other supported cards work under Windows 2000 and the GeForce 2 is fully supported under Windows XP. We hope to resolve this issue shortly in a free downloadable upgrade.
Windows XP Media Center
Windows XP Media Center has not been tested for use with Serious Magic products and is currently listed as "Unsupported".
Tablet PCs
Tablet PCs have not been tested for use with Serious Magic products. While individual experiences may vary, Tablet PCs are currently listed as "Unsupported".
Tested Video Cards
Ovation supports all "ATI Radeon", "NVidia GeForce" and "Intel Extreme Graphics" graphics processors (also called "video cards"). However, not all supported video cards have been fully tested by Serious Magic. Here is the complete list of all video cards that are confirmed to work with Ovation.

Mobile Intel Chipset
Users of computers that have the "Mobile Intel 915GM/GMS, 910GML Express Chipset" should go to the following website to get the latest software driver for this graphics device. Earlier drivers for this device have been found to be problematic.
