Map module is white | Lightroom 4

The Map Module displays completely white in Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 4 in Mac OS.

The map module can be white when you're not connected to the internet.

Although you can install Lightroom on a case-sensitive partition, it cannot be run on such a partition. If it is on a case-sensitive partition, move the Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 4.app file to a non-case-sensitive partition.

The folder that you need read and write permissions to is the: ~/Library/Preferences/Macromedia/Flash Player folder.

Important: (Mac OS) Apple made the user library folder hidden by default with the release of Mac OS X 10.7. If you need access to files in the hidden library folder to perform Adobe-related troubleshooting, see How to access hidden user library files.

Change the permissions on this folder so that you have read and write permissions.

To change permissions on a file in Mac OS:

Select the ~/Library/Preferences/Macromedia/Flash Player folder.

Get Info on the folder.

in the Sharing & Permissions section, select your account in the list (click + to add your account if it's missing from the list), and change the Privilege to Read & Write.

Click the lock icon, and after typing in your password, select the Settings icon at the bottom of the dialog box.

For each of the names, select Apply to enclosed items.
