Flex 2.0.1 Hotfix 2

Flex 2.0.1 hotfix 2 is a collection of bug fixes that have been completed since the Flex 2.0.1 Hot Fix 1 was released on March 16, 2007. This hot fix is being released in conjunction with LiveCycle Data Services ES 2.5. Customers who want to use Flex Builder with LiveCycle Data Services ES 2.5 need to apply Hotfix 2 to Flex Builder 2.0.1.

This hotfix release is being made available to other Flex customers who are experiencing any of the issues described in this document and require the provided bug fixes. Installation of this hotfix release is not recommended for customers who are not experiencing one of the described issues.

This SDK hotfix 2 works only with licensed copies of Flex Builder 2.0.1. It does not support Flex Builder 2.0.

Debugging
199175	Flex Builder and the Flex debugger (fdb) did not function correctly when running or debugging with Flash Player 9 (9.0.45.0) in the Mozilla browser. Included in TechNote kb401493.
ASDoc

Memory

To update the SDK on Windows, Macintosh and Unix:

Make a copy of your current Flex SDK 2.0.1 installation and name it 'FlexSDK-201'.

Download the hotfix build ZIP file. (39MB)

Extract the ZIP file to the location where the SDK should be installed.

Follow the instructions above for installing Flex SDK 2.0.1 hotfix 2.

Download the Hotfix 2 Japanese Language Pack ZIP file. (10MB)

Extract the Language Pack ZIP file to the location where the Flex SDK is installed.

Download the Flex Builder 2.0.1 Hotfix 2 updater installer for Windows. (155MB)

Double-click on the installer icon and follow the installation instructions.

Depending on your 2.0.1 installation, the update installer will install the Standalone and/or the Plugin version of Flex Builder.
