If you have multiple Photoshop.com accounts, you can consolidate the contents of each account into a single account for easier access. This document shows you how to you consolidate the assets from more than one Photoshop.com account.
Before merging Photoshop.com accounts, ensure that one of your accounts has enough free space to hold all the assets of the combined accounts. You can see the amount of free space in your account by logging on to www.photoshop.com/account. Additionally, if you use Photoshop Elements, your free space is displayed on the Welcome screen when you're logged in.
- Go to www.photoshop.com/tools/organizer and log in to the account that contains the assets that you want to move into another account.
This technique uses the Photoshop Express Uploader to download the assets of one account and then upload them to the final account.
Note: When syncing numerous images, the process can take several hours, depending on Internet connection speed and hard drive usage.
- Download and install the Photoshop Express Uploader from the Photoshop.com Tools page, www.photoshop.com/tools.
- Click the Sync button in the lower-left corner of the Photoshop.com Express Uploader window. Syncing begins immediately. The Photoshop Express Uploader copies all of the assets in the album to your local computer. The default location for copied files is:
Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\[username]\My Documents\My Pictures\Photoshop.com Sync\[Photoshop.com user ID e-mail address]
Windows Vista/7: C:\Users\[username]\My Pictures\Photoshop.com Sync\[Photoshop.com user ID e-mail address]
Mac: Users/[username]/Pictures/Photoshop.com Sync/[Photoshop.com user ID e-mail address]
This technique uses Group Albums to connect the related accounts. Then, you can copy files between accounts. If your images are in several albums that you would like to keep in the merged account, use this technique for each album.
- Close the Express Organizer window and log out of Photoshop.com. Then click the sign-in button on www.photoshop.com and log in to your other Photoshop.com account.
If you want to delete the unused account, post a request on the User to User forum forums.adobe.com/community/photoshopdotcom/photoshopdotcom_general
