You qualify for upgrade pricing if you own a product that is eligible for an upgrade. To find out which products qualify for upgrading to a CS6 product, see the Upgrade information page.
Before you purchase an upgrade, note the following:
- Adobe doesn't offer an upgrade from a suite product to a single point product. If you purchased a point product upgrade, and your previous version is a suite, contact us for assistance. (The point product upgrade won't recognize the serial number from the suite.)
- Student and Teach Edition products aren't available as upgrades. However, you can purchase retail upgrades for Student and Teacher Edition products.
- You can't purchase an upgrade for a product owned by someone else. However, you can first transfer product ownership.
