Issue

When you use forced SSL on Connect Pro 7.5 SP1, additional configurations to Adobe Connect Pro are sometimes required.

Solution

Update the config.xml file:

 

  1. Make a backup copy of the <CPS_ROOT>\TelephonyService\conf\config.xml file (where <CPS_ROOT> is the path to your Connect Pro installation folder.
  2. Open the XML file  in an XML-compliant editor (for example, Dreamweaver).
  3. Set the "ConnectURL" value to "http://localhost:8510/console" (without the quotes).
  4. Start the Telephony Service after your Connect Pro Server has started
  5. Add the following items to TelephonyService.conf (found in your Connect installation folder, under the /Telephony Service/ and /conf/ folders)

 

wrapper.startup.delay.service=15

wrapper.ntservice.dependency.1=connectpro

This update makes the Connect Telephony Service dependent on the Connect Pro Services being started first. It also adds a delay to the Telephony Service startup of 15 seconds.

Forced SSL exists where the following items are set in your Connect Pro custom.ini file:

SSL_ONLY_APPSERVER=true or SSL_ONLY_APPSERVER=yes

ADMIN_PROTOCOL=https://

SSL_ONLY=true
