Unable to upload PPT or PPTX files in Adobe Connect

Unable to upload PPT or PPTX files to the Share Pod or Content Library of Adobe Connect.

Issue

Users are unable to upload Powerpoint documents (PPT or PPTX) files to the Content Library of Adobe Connect 8 or into a Share Pod.

If uploading to the Content Library, a "Request Not Processed" error is returned to the user, and the following error appears in the debug.log file.

Solution

The problem occurs because MSXML 4.0 Parser is not installed on the affected server, which is required for installation of the Adobe Connect server. To resolve this issue, you can install MSXML 4.0 SP2, available from the following third-party (Microsoft) website:  www.microsoft.com/en-in/download/details.aspx?id=19662.

This can also affect Adobe Connect version 7.5.x.
