Updating the General settings in your app

When you synchronize your app with the AEM forms server, all the tasks assigned to you and defined Startpoints are downloaded to your mobile device.

The out-of-the-box AEM forms app solution does not download the attachments associated with each form when your app is synchronized.

Also, the default settings from Startpoints is set to ON. This means that, by default, the startpoints defined in Workbench are downloaded when your app is synchronized.

In the General tab, change the download attachments and startpoints settings. You can change the Home screen of your app. You can also update your app synchronization frequency. This is the frequency at which the tasks in your app are synchronized with the AEM forms server in the online mode.

Navigate to the General tab on the Settings screen

  1. Tap the Back button at the upper-left corner of your screen to go back to the Home screen.

  2. To go to the Setting screen, tap the Settings button at the upper-right corner of the Home screen.

  3. In the Settings screen, tap the General tab.
