The Image Mapper and Image Cropper don't show the image to map or crop in Microsoft Internet Explorere. Instead, they show a gray background.

Install the actual Sun Java runtime environment for use with your browser.

The built-in Microsoft Virtual Machine doesn't support the Image Mapper and Image Cropper applets.
