Creative Cloud Contributor Bonus FAQ

Adobe Stock’s Contributor bonus program rewards successful contributors and encourages you to take your work to the next level using Adobe’s Creative Cloud apps. You don’t have to apply . We will notify you if you are receiving a bonus by sending a redemption code for Creative Cloud via email. The sender address is @adobestockcontributor.com.

There are two different software plans you can receive as a bonus:

  1. To receive a 1- year subscription to Adobe Creative Cloud Photography plan, you must have at least 300 accepted assets on files submitted during the period of Jan 1-Dec 31, 2019. To qualify, you must maintain at least a 50% acceptance rate of your submitted content.
  2. To receive a 1- year subscription to Adobe Creative Cloud All Apps plan you must have at least 300 accepted video assets on files submitted during the period of Jan 1- Dec 31, 2019.  To qualify, you must maintain at least a 50% acceptance rate of your submitted content.

Please see our FAQs below for more information.

Qualifying for a bonus

Yes, all your content submitted and accepted since January 1, 2019 counts toward a CC Photography plan. All your submitted and accepted videos count toward a CC All Apps plan.

Yes, you need to have 300 videos accepted in 2019.

You will receive both the CC Photography plan and the CC All Apps plan.

Note: if you redeem the CC All Apps plan, with the same Adobe ID, while the Photography plan is active, both plans will run in parallel, they cannot be combined or connected. You may consider letting the Photography plan run its course first before redeeming the CC All Apps plan; however both plans must be redeemed within 12 months of Adobe sending the bonus.

You will only receive the CC All Apps plan because the photography applications are included in the CC All Apps plan.

No, only accepted assets count towards the bonus.

If you sync your account with Adobe Stock, all activity starting January 1, 2019 will be counted toward the bonus. To learn how to sync your account, see Information for Fotolia contributors.

To view how many files have been accepted, go to the Dashboard tab in the Contributor Portal and sort by date. Then navigate to the page with your first file from 2019. We always display 100 thumbnails per page, so if you have more than 3 pages of content from 2019 you may qualify for the bonus.

Using my award

Please allow 6-8 weeks for delivery of your Creative Cloud plan. It will be sent in the form of a redemption code in an email.

You are not required to enter your credit card information  when you redeem the code for your bonus. Skip this step by selecting Remind me later. You will not be charged anything right now. However, if you choose to select Accept terms and conditions and enter a credit card, you will receive notification at the end of the CC giveaway subscription term that your membership will automatically renew and you will be charged the regular monthly rate. Terms and pricing will be presented at the time of renewal.

Follow the onscreen instructions, or the instructions in this tech doc.

If you have the exact same plan as the one you receive as a bonus (CC Photography plan with 20GB of storage, or CC All Apps plan) and you redeem the code using the same Adobe ID: At the time of redemption, with the same Adobe ID, billing is suspended for 12 months if you have an annual plan that is billed monthly. If you paid for the full year in advance, the year of your CC bonus plan will start once your prepaid year is over.

Contributors in certain countries in Asia Pacific (APAC), Latin America, Russia and CIS, Turkey, Middle East and North Africa (MENA) and Israel, may see an error message “Invalid Code” when redeeming their complimentary code. In this case your current Creative Cloud plan was serviced by Digital River, an Adobe approved reseller. You need to contact Adobe Customer Care to cancel the automatic renewal of your existing plan. For more information including a detailed list of countries and the Adobe Customer Care Contact Us link, please refer to this doc.

If you already have an active membership for a different plan and you redeem the code for CC Photography or All Apps with the same Adobe ID, a separate parallel membership will be created.

In some cases, you may want to consider waiting until your existing membership expires or gifting your plan to a friend or family member; however the bonus code must be redeemed within 12 months of Adobe sending the bonus.

Here are some example scenarios.

If you have:

  • A single app plan like Illustrator or InDesign: If you redeem the Photography plan, you gain access to the photography apps like Lightroom CC and Photoshop CC and an additional 20GB in storage. You retain access to the individual app (for instance, Illustrator or InDesign).
  • The CC All Apps plan and receive a free Photography plan: Since CC All Apps already include the photography apps, you may want to consider gifting the Photography plan to family or a friend, You can also wait until the All Apps plan expires and then redeem the Photography plan; however the bonus code must be redeemed within 12 months of Adobe sending the bonus.
  • The Photography plan and you receive a free CC All Apps plan: We recommend that you wait until the Photography plan expires before you redeem the CC plan; however the bonus code must be redeemed within 12 months of Adobe sending the bonus.

The code will remain valid 12 months from the date it is issued to you.
