AIR 2.5.1 includes an updated version of the Flash Player plug-in (10.1.102.64), which is used when displaying SWF content embedded in HTML. For more information, see http://www.adobe.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/releasenotes.html.
To build Adobe AIR applications, please continue to use the AIR 2.5 SDK. An SDK corresponding to the AIR 2.5.1 runtime will not be released.
To verify that a bug in your application was fixed in AIR 2.5.1, you can install the AIR 2.5.1 runtime and use the ADL -runtime parameter to debug against the AIR 2.5.1 runtime (see Using the AIR debug launcher for more information).
Adobe AIR 2.5.1 includes security improvements described in Security Bulletin APSB10-26.

UncaughtErrorEvent listeners will not capture uncaught errors that are thrown from an event listener added directly to the stage. To prevent an uncaught error from being thrown by such an event listener, use a try ... catch block to isolate any code that can throw a synchronous error. ( 2722320)
An API call file.openWithDefaultApplication() does not work on Ubuntu 10.10. This is because gvfs-bin is not installed on Ubuntu by default. The workaround is to install gvfs-bin using "sudo apt-get install gvfs-bin". (2744287).
