Dynamic Tag Management

Question

For a String ID, say "abc" there are two Direct Call Rules defined. One of them is not being triggered with a call to _satellite.track("abc").

Answer

With a call to _satellite.track(), DTM looks for a Direct Call Rule with the string specified and triggers a rule it finds. It doesn't search any further and hence the second rule with the same String ID is not triggered.

Additional information

If the requirement is to call two Direct Call Rules with one call to _satellite.track() on the page, you can have two Direct Call Rules with String IDs say "abc" and "xyz".

From page, rule with String ID "abc" can be triggered with a call to _satellite.track("abc"). In this rule, add a Third Party Tag and add a call to _satellite.track("xyz") which will then call the Direct Call Rule with the String ID "xyz".
