Clarifications about the logic of '.sync' and '.overwrite' files. Specifically: Is there an order of operations in which files are processed? Suppose that there is a '.sync' and a '.overwrite' file uploaded the same day, which one gets processed first?

Answer:

We currently cannot guarantee files are processed in the same order as they arrive. We are processing them in the correct order almost every time, but we cannot guarantee the ordering.

If the customer cannot merge the files and send them as a single '.overwrite' file batch, then it would be better to send the '.sync' files the next day.

If the '.overwrite' and '.sync' files are not for the same data source, then they can both be sent simultaneously, as the '.overwrite' file will not delete anything from the '.sync' file (if they have 2 different target data sources).
