App conflict during installation

Close the application that is mentioned in the error message (for example, MS Office).

Select Retry to resume the Creative Cloud installation.
If you are unable to close the specific application, use the following steps to close it using the Task Manager.

Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager.

Navigate to the Processes tab.

Locate the reported application in the list (such as MS Office) and right-click on it.

Choose End Task to force-close the application.

Once the application is successfully closed, select Retry in the Creative Cloud installer to resume the installation process. The installation should now proceed without any interruption.
Outdated installer version (for computers with Intel processors)
Sometimes, Error 501 can occur when you use an outdated version of the Creative Cloud desktop app installer on a Windows computer with an Intel processor. Downloading the latest version of the Creative Cloud desktop app can resolve installation conflicts.

Close the current Creative Cloud installation, if it's still running.

Download the latest version of the Creative Cloud desktop app using the given link.

Save the file and right-click the downloaded file. Then select Extract All.

Double-click Set-up.exe in the extracted folder.
