Resolve errors that occur when you sign in to your Adobe account with Facebook, Google, or Apple (social sign-in).

Can't sign in to Adobe account with social account | Don't have access to social account anymore

You can't sign in to your Adobe account with Facebook, Google, or Apple, or don't have access to your social account anymore.

Solution

Sign in with your Adobe ID and password.

Can't remember your Adobe ID and password? Try the following steps:

  1. On the sign-in page, choose Forgot password?

    Choose "Forgot password" to set up Adobe ID password
  2. When prompted for your Adobe ID, enter the email address associated with your social account. Then, choose Next and follow the onscreen instructions to change your password. 

    Apple ID user?

    Sometimes you only see a dummy email address while signing in to different services using Apple. To get your actual Apple ID email address, go to Apple settings on your iPhone/iPad.

  3. Sign in to your Adobe account using the Adobe ID and password which you just set up.

    Note:

    You can continue to sign in and manage your account using the Adobe ID and password.

Error: "You did not authorize the Adobe Facebook app."

You get this error if you had chosen to sign in to your Adobe account with Facebook, and then selected Cancel instead of Continue as <your name> (shown in the picture below on the right). 

Solution

On the sign-in page, click Continue with Facebook, enter your Facebook credentials, and select Continue as <your name>.

Select "Continue as <your name>" instead of Cancel

Message: "Turn on apps, websites and games"

You get this message if you have turned off the setting in Facebook which stops Facebook from interacting with other apps. 

Solution

In the message window, select Turn On. Then follow the onscreen instructions.

Browser won't open when you try to sign in from an Adobe app

When you try to sign in with your social account from an Adobe app, browser won't open.

Solution

Sign in with your Adobe ID (primary email) and password from the Adobe app.

Haven't set up your Adobe ID and password? Follow the steps below:

  1. Navigate to the Adobe Account page. Choose your social (Facebook, Google, or Apple) account to sign in.

  2. In the Account information and access section, note your Adobe ID (primary email). You need it later when signing in from the Adobe app. 

  3. Choose the Password and security section in the left pane, and click Set password. Use this password to sign in from the Adobe app.

    Follow the onscreen instructions. 

  4. Go back to the Adobe app from which you were trying to sign in. Enter your Adobe ID (primary email) that you noted, and the password that you set up. Then choose Continue.

    You are now signed in. 

    Note:

    You can continue to sign in and manage your account using the Adobe ID and password.
