Learn how to bring in assets that are saved in your Creative Cloud, device files, or camera roll into Adobe Aero.

Before you begin

If you have not optimized your digital assets for AR, then it is a good idea to do so before you import them into Aero. See instructions on how to prepare Dimension, Photoshop, and Illustrator assets for Aero. You may also want to check out how to prepare 3D content for Aero.

Steps to import assets to Aero mobile (iOS)

  1. Save the file that you want to import into Aero, in a place accessible from your mobile device (Creative Cloud, files, or camera roll).
  2. In Aero, navigate to the plus (+) button in the Edit mode.
  3. Navigate to where your file is located and tap on the file.
  4. The file is brought into Aero. Then, select Tap to Place option.
  5. The file is loaded in the scene.

Steps to import assets to Aero desktop

  1. Drag-and-drop the compatible file into your scene or choose any of the following options to import assets:
    • In the home screen, click File > Import.
    • Click the + icon on the upper-left corner.
    • For macOS, press Cmd + I.
  2. Navigate to where your file is located and select the file.
  3. The file is loaded in the scene.
