Issue
When you install the Creative Cloud desktop app or update the Adobe Application Manager on Windows, you receive the following error:
"Installer failed to initialize."
Solution
Try the following solutions in order.
- Choose Start > Control Panel.
- Double-click Programs and Features, select Adobe Creative Cloud, and then click Uninstall.
- Follow the onscreen instructions to remove.
- To download and install, click the Creative Cloud desktop app link.
- Choose Start > Control Panel.
- Double-click Programs and Features, select Adobe Creative Cloud, and then click Uninstall.
- Follow the onscreen instructions.
- Follow the instructions after clicking the Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool link.
- Remove the Creative Cloud desktop app.
- To download and install, click the Creative Cloud desktop app link.
