Log in to your Salesforce account and then from the upper-right corner, select Setup.

Using the Quick find field, search for Object Manager and then select it to open the Object Manager page.

From the top-right corner of the Object Manager page, select Create > Custom Object.

Enter the name of the Custom Object in Label, Plural Label, and Object Name fields.
The Record Name field gets automatically filled.

Scroll down the page and then select the Launch New Custom Tab Wizard after saving this custom object checkbox, and then select Save.

To select an icon for the tab, select the Search icon, select a desired icon, and then select Next.

To customize the tab visibility, select Apply a different tab visibility for each profile and then select a desired option for each profile. Once done, select Next.

On the next page, select the custom apps for which the new Custom tab is required and select Save.
By default, when creating a Custom Object, you do not have the options to make it available to different Profiles and Custom Apps. Therefore, you should launch the New Custom Tab wizard to create a fully qualified Custom Object.
