The August 2019 release of Adobe Camera Raw (version 11.4) rolls out new features - enhanced GPU support to accelerate editing of images and edge-aware editing in 360-degree panoramas. This release also adds support for new cameras and lenses and fixes several issues.

Enhanced GPU support for accelerated image editing
GPU acceleration speeds up image processing most noticeably for photos with several adjustments and for high resolution monitors (4K and higher). You can enable the new GPU acceleration features on supported systems in the Performance tab of Camera Raw Preferences. On some computers the feature is enabled automatically. Edge aware editing in 360-degree panoramas
Previously, when making adjustments to a 360-degree panorama it could result in a seam appearing around the merged edges, especially if you edit Clarity or Dehaze. Starting with this release, you can make seamless edits to 360-degree panoramas, even when adjusting Clarity or Dehaze. This feature is currently not supported in the Camera Raw filter in Photoshop.

Smoothen or enhance texture with Texture slider
Enhance or reduce the appearance of texture in your photo. In Adobe Camera Raw, you can now accentuate or smooth medium sized details such as skin, bark, and hair with the Texture slider. You can access this slider in the Basic panel, Local Adjustment Brush, Radial Filter, and Graduated Filter. To know more, see Make local adjustments.

One-step HDR Panorama merge
Effortlessly create HDR panoramas.
You can now merge multiple bracketed exposures together to create a HDR panorama - in one step.

Depth range masking
Depth Range masking enables you to leverage depth information in photos to make precise selections and isolate subjects faster than before. This feature is available only for photos that contain Depth Masks, such as photos captured in Portrait mode on Apple iPhone 7+, 8+, X, and later.

Process Version 5
Adobe Camera Raw features an improved image processing version, by default. All new photos edited in Camera Raw 11 display better rendering for high ISO images. You also have more latitude when you use negative dehaze and easily add haze for creative effect.
