(1) What does dotted line connecting pages stands for?

(2) why are each page tagged with letters? What are those letters stand for? like A, H, J ..

(3) The tags in (2) are of different colors, does color have any meaning attached to them?

(4) Is there a difference in those paths? Like travel from page to page, or click through from one page to another?
