Overview

ColdFusion Builder extension for Visual Studio Code (Update 4) (release date: February 25, 2025) contains the following enhacements in ColdFusion (2025 release) and bug fixes:

  • Dictionary support for the following:
    • New spreadsheet and language functions.
    • Enhancements to charting.
    • Support for bitwise and modulus operators in QoQ.
    • Enhancements to thread management.
    • Support for Null coalescing operator.
    • Enhancements to cfoauth tag.
    • Support for MS Graph user store.
  • Deprecation and removal of certain ColdFusion features to streamline the platform.

Bugs fixed in this update

  • Added support for the variable enableCspNonceForScript in Application.cfc.
  • A status message now appears after you attach a project to a workspace, when the workspace is being opened. Earlier, you had to navigate to the Project Manager and the CF Servers sections to know if a project was attached to a workspace.
  • The Data Source suggestions in the plugin fail to display the newly added database in the RDS Data View after configuration and reloading, even after attempting to use the cfquery tag with Ctrl+Space for suggestions.
  • Intermittently, Watch Expression fails to update during line-by-line debugging.
  • Syntax coloring doesn't work as expected when attempting to add parts of the SQL query in <cfquery> a variable (like #local.querypart#).
