Cumulative hot fix 2 | ColdFusion 9

ColdFusion 9.0 Cumulative hot fix 2 (Release date: February 27 2013) includes support for Google Maps JavaScript API v3 and JDK 1.7 Update 15. This cumulative hot fix is specific to ColdFusion 9.0.

Update

  • ColdFusion 9 Cumulative hot fix 2 was refreshed on March 1 2013 at 6 AM Eastern time to fix an issue (Bug# 3508603) in the Google Maps JavaScript API. If you have already applied Cumlative hot fix 2 and are using the Google Maps JavaScript API or intend to use this feature, Adobe recommends that you download CFIDE-9.zip file again. Make a backup of the CFIDE folder before extracting the files in CFIDE-9.zip file to the web root directory with the {CFIDE-HOME} folder.
  • JDK 1.7 is only supported on Mac OS X 10.7.3 and later. See this article for more details. ColdFusion 9.0 does not support Mac OS X 10.7. Therefore, Cumulative hot fix 2 does not certify ColdFusion 9.0 with JDK 1.7 on Mac OS X.
  • Adobe realized a few fixes were missing in Cumulative hot fix 2 for ColdFusion 9.0. Adobe is in the process of releasing Cumulative hot fix 3 for ColdFusion 9.0 with these fixes. Adobe suggests that you wait for the new Cumulative hot fix 3 that will be available within couple of days.
  • Cumulative hot fix 3 was released on March 8 2013. Adobe strongly recommends users who are on Cumulative hot fix 2 apply Cumulative hot fix 3.
