When you try to install Creative Suite 3 updates by choosing Help > Check For Updates, no updates are found. Instead, you get the following message:

"There are no updates available at this time. Please note that some updates for the following products cannot be determined at this time: Adobe Update"


Solution 1: Set your computer's system clock back to October 1 2011 and then check for updates again.

After the updates have been installed, set the date back to the current date.

Solution 2: Go to and download any updates.

Then, install the updates manually.

Additional information

An expired updater certificate causes the issue. The certificate expired on October 17 2011.
