Issue

When you install Adobe CS3, CS4, or CS5 products the general error, "Return value 3" appears in the installation log. The following information appears in the Adobe Creative Suite installation log:

Action ended 16:49:23: InstallFinalize. Return value 3.

The Adobe Creative Suite installer places two indicators in the installation log for error messages during the installation. "Return value 3" in caps are the two keywords that are placed in the installation log.  Return value 3 error codes indicate that a Windows Installer error message has occurred.
