What is the reason for the below error observed while logging into Activity Map?

DATA REQUEST ERROR You do not have permission to view Activity Map elements

The error generally indicates incorrect permission for the user. To log in to Activity Map on the page and access the data, the two product profiles explained below are mandatory.

(Product Profiles are added to users in the Admin Console. It provides different access within the Experience Cloud solutions)

Product profile 1: Access to the "Activity Map tool" is required under Analytics Tools.


Product profile 2: Access to the report suite implemented on the live page is required. In addition to the report suite, access to the Activity Map dimensions is also needed in the same profile.


After adding Product profile 1 and 2 to the user, the error will no longer be seen.
