Adobe Livefyre is a social media service that offers solutions for user-generated content curation and audience engagement. Livefyre is part of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and integrated across Adobe Marketing Cloud solutions. By configuring Livefyre to work in AEM, you can add Livefyre components to articles that appear in AEM Mobile apps.
To use Livefyre in AEM Mobile apps, you configure AEM to work with both AEM Mobile and with Livefyre. Articles you create in AEM can then include Livefyre components.
-
Configure AEM to work with Livefyre.
Use Tools > Deployment > Package Share to download and install the AEM Communities Livefyre Feature Pack.
See Set up Livefyre for Adobe Experience Manager in Livefyre documentation.
-
For more information on how to set up Apps in Livefyre Studio, see Apps in Livefyre Help.
Common components include Media Wall, Carousel, Mosaic, and Single Card. Maps and authentication-required experiences such as Chat, Comments, and LiveBlog have not been fully tested.
Once you configure AEM to work with Livefyre and AEM Mobile, you can create articles in AEM that include Livefyre components.
-
In AEM 6.2, click Adobe Experience Manager > Navigation (icon) > Mobile. Click the AEM Mobile app you're editing to display the App Dashboard. Then use the Manage Articles sections to create an article. Specify the metadata and the image for the article.
See Content Management Actions in AEM 6.2 Help.
-
Upload the article to AEM Mobile On-Demand Services, add it to a collection, and preview the article.
If necessary, go to Livefyre Studio to set up the App for your chosen component. For information on how to set up Apps in Livefyre Studio, see Apps in Livefyre Help.
For information about adding authentication to use with Livefyre Chat and Livefyre Comments, see Adding Authentication and Your Identity Service in Livefyre documentation.
