When you try to download a purchased or free folio in an Android-based DPS application, you receive the following error:

"Could not verify purchase." or "Could not Verify this Purchase."

The folio doesn't download.

Solution 1: Check and verify if you have completed all sections under Google Checkout and Google Wallet including your Tax and Banking declarations.

Under the Tax Section, declare whether you would be charging Tax from your customers who purchase your App or in-app Folios. Also, make sure that your Google checkout account is properly linked to your Android Developer account and shows up in your Android Developer Console.

Solution 2: Solution 2: Copy and paste the correct Android Shared Secret key in your Application account from which you have published the Folios.

Android calls this Public Key which can be found in your Android Developer Console.

Solution 3: Update to the latest version of the Adobe Integrated Runtime (AIR).

Additional information

  • If you find that some information or declarations were missing, update and complete your declarations in Google Checkout. It can take up to 72 hours before the issue is resolved, depending upon Google's Server Lag.
  • This issue with Adobe air is more likely to occur on systems that are updated to the new Android OS version 4.x (Ice Cream Sandwich).
