Issue

When you publish or update a folio using either the Folio Producer or the Content Bundler, publishing stops at less than 100%. Or, the publishing fails in some other way. The folio sometimes appears to complete the publishing function, but is not complete when tested in your app.

Solutions

Solution 1: For publishing new folios.

  1. Publish your folio with the status Private.
  2. Test the folio in the Adobe Content Viewer.
  3. If changes are necessary
    1. Change the content as necessary in InDesign.
    2. Update the affected articles in the Folio Builder panel or Content Bundler.
    3. Update the folio in the Folio Producer web client, or Content Bundler, still with the status of Private.
  4. When you are satisfied that the folio is as expected while in the Private state, perform an update on the folio. Change the status from Private to Public.

Note: If you are using the Folio Producer (web client) to change the status from Private to Public, make sure to deselect the "Update Content" checkbox.

Solution 2: For updating existing folios.
