Learn the prerequisites for downloading and installing Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements.
Photoshop Elements 2025 and Premiere Elements 2025 are now sold as full 3-year term licenses without monthly or annual recurring subscriptions. The app licenses are non-renewing and expire 3 years after redemption. The 2025 versions no longer require a serial number but are activated via a redemption code. The redemption code is a 24-digit alphanumeric code received during the product purchase via Amazon or other third-party resellers.
Refer to the Frequently Asked Questions for more information.
Before you download and install an Elements app, make sure that you meet these prerequisites:
- Verify your device meets the system requirements for the required Elements apps. For more information, refer to the system requirements for Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements.
- If you are on Windows, check if your operating system is 32-bit or 64-bit.
- Make sure you have administrative privileges for the account you are using.
- Use the latest version of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Microsoft Edge.
- Make sure you have a valid Adobe ID.
- Disable pop-up blockers in your web browser.
- Temporarily disable firewalls, antivirus software, and third-party security software to speed up the installation process.
- Make sure you are connected to the Internet throughout the installation.
