Last updated on Apr 14, 2025

Learn how to install plugins or extensions for Creative Cloud apps on Mac computers with Apple silicon.

  1. Go to the Stock & Marketplace tab and select Plugins in the dropdown menu next to the search bar.

  2. In the search bar, type the name of the plugin or extension you are looking for.

  3. Select Get or Learn more and follow the onscreen instructions.

After installation, you can find the plugin within your app menu.

Note:

Photoshop only supports the new plugins (based on UXP, under Plugins in the menu) natively on Mac computers with Apple silicon. If you want to use legacy plugins (under Window in the menu), run Photoshop in the Rosetta mode. If you are a developer,  check if you can migrate your plugins from CEP to UXP
