With Dreamweaver CC, Adobe focuses on modern web technologies such as HTML5 and jQuery, and has revamped the user interface to remove features that support web technologies that are no longer relevant for most Dreamweaver users.
This article lists the features removed in Dreamweaver CC.
The following options are removed from the Document toolbar:
- Multiscreen preview button
- File Get/Put menu button
- W3C validator button
- Visual Aids button (Menu Visual Aids is retained. Except for Hide All option under the menu)
- Refresh button in Design view
- Home button in Live view
- CSS button
Note: For Fluid Grid layout documents, the document toolbar includes a new button to enable/disable fluid grid guides.
