Adobe uses advanced caching, known as Network Acceleration, to make certain reporting elements work more efficiently. It does so by optimizing the path between the Adobe infrastructure and your location. Users see noticeable improvements in report performance, especially in areas distant to Adobe's servers.
In rare cases, brief communication issues can occur between servers delivering reporting content and servers storing cached elements. A Network Acceleration Timeout error message is displayed if your browser cannot communicate with this cache. If this message is a recurring issue for you, you can temporarily disable it:
- Log in to Adobe Analytics and go to Components > Report Settings.
- Deselect 'Enable network acceleration for improved report performance'.
- Click Save.
