Set the print resolution on FXG | Scene7

Since FXG is vector-based, how can I set it to 300 dpi rather than the default 72 dpi? The printRes command doesn't work.

Solution

The Scene7 server preserves the resolution of bitmap images in generated print-ready PDFs. Scene7 upscales image resolution if necessary. For optimal results, leave the resolution at the default value (typically 72 dpi) when previewing on web. The default resolution for all the images in your company is set in the Publish Settings/Image Server window in the Default Print Resolution section. Only apply higher resolutions (such as 300 dpi) to a print-ready PDF, as they can result in longer processing time. Use the imageRes= command in the URL to manually override the default resolution for PDF jobs.
