Customer guide to downloading Adobe Experience Manager 6.3 software.

About downloading AEM

Adobe Experience Manager is a web-based client-server system for building, managing and deploying commercial websites and related services. It combines a number of infrastructure-level and application-level functions into a single integrated package.

To get started, customers require a valid maintenance and support contract from Adobe, and will receive a mail notification that an official software package is ready for them. The software will be available within 48hours of receipt of that mail and will then be available to download from the Adobe Licensing Website

If you haven’t received this, and you are a new customer, please contact your account manager. Business partners can request download access from spphelp@adobe.com.

About the AEM Package

The downloadable AEM software package is available in two forms:

cq-quickstart-6.3.0.jar
A standalone downloadable executable jar file - this includes everything needed to get up and running.

cq-quickstart-6.3.0.war
A downloadable WAR file for deployment on a third-party application server.
