The Toggle Side Panel and Emulator icons are missing in page editor Touch UI (/editor.html). Disabling Link Rewriting, clearing the cache, and restarting the AEM instance doesn't help.
Cause
When the Trim Spaces feature is enabled on the org.apache.sling.scripting.jsp.JspScriptEngineFactory configuration, it causes the spaces to be removed between some CSS classes in the Touch UI HTML.
Resolution
To fix the issue, disable Trim Spaces:
