Learn how to directly publish content to Instagram within the Adobe Express mobile app using Content Scheduler
Wait for the notification on your mobile app at the scheduled post time and hit publish
At the scheduled time and date you will get a notification from your Adobe Express mobile app. From here, you will be able to view your post, and select Post to Instagram.
NOTE: When you enter your post copy, you'll just need to select Paste. The copy will have been automatically saved to your clipboard at an earlier stage. You can also view your upcoming and approved posts in the main feed within the app. On the Adobe Express mobile dashboard, pull down to refresh the screen to ensure all future posts have been pulled through.
If you're looking to publish to an Instagram personal profile or to your Instagram story, you will need to use the mobile app to push this content live. This is due to limitations in Instagram's API.
If you are publishing feed posts to an Instagram Business profile, you will be able to auto-publish your content as you would with other social media channels via Content Scheduler (such as Facebook and Twitter).
If you would like to convert your creator or personal profile into a business profile. Please visit Instagram's documentation here.
Publish directly to social media via the Adobe Express mobile app is only available for Instagram at this current time.
Posts will not auto-publish via Schedule to personal Instagram accounts. Posts to any Instagram accounts that are not business accounts will need to be published using the Mobile app.
If your content is not in-line with Instagram's specifications for auto-published content, a push notification will be sent to your mobile to publish your content live manually.
The Adobe Express app will alert you with a red notification icon when constructing your post and notify that your post doesn't meet Instagram's specifications. This will then trigger the real-time push notification at the scheduled date.
Even if your content is viable to be auto-published, you may wish to manually publish via the mobile app regardless. For example, if your post is viable to be auto-published as a feed post, but you would like to publish the content to your Instagram Story, using the mobile app to publish will give you more control over the destination it is published to.
You can choose to publish any Instagram post via the mobile app by selecting the Publish via mobile app tickbox within the post editor on the web.
