Why isn't a video showing in my sitemap?

Solution

First, check the generation report under the Video Sitemap section in SPS Setup. Any errors or warnings are listed here. The most common cause is missing metadata.

Second, here are the rules for which videos are included in the Sitemap:

• Members of Adaptive Video Set (AVS): The video sitemap job ignores any members of unpublished AVS sets. It only publishes the lowest bit rate member when the AVS is marked for publish, provided this lowest bit rate member is marked for publish. If not marked, none of the videos of the AVS make it into the map.
• Not members of Adaptive Video Set (AVS): Videos not part of the AVS marked for publish are added to the sitemap.
