Bridge displays 'Camera Raw editing is not enabled'

Issue

Bridge displays the Camera Raw editing is not enabled prompt in the following scenarios:

Scenario 1: When you open a raw file in Bridge

Bridge displays the following prompt:

Camera Raw editing is not enabled.
Camera raw editing requires that a qualifying product has been launched at least once to enable this feature.
  

Scenario 2: When you drag a raw image onto the Publish panel to upload on Adobe Stock or Adobe Portfolio

Bridge displays the following prompt:

Camera Raw editing is not enabled.
Your upload contains raw images. Camera Raw editing requires that a qualifying product has been launched at least once to enable this feature.
  

Solution

To enable Camera Raw editing in Bridge, you need an active subscription of Adobe Photoshop or Photoshop Lightroom Classic. If you have an active subscription, launch either one of these apps once to resolve the issue. 

Perform these steps:

  1. Launch Adobe Photoshop or Photoshop Lightroom Classic.
  2. Quit Adobe Bridge.
  3. Relaunch Adobe Bridge.

Camera Raw editing is now enabled in Adobe Bridge.
