Unable to publish due to log in error

Issue

When you try to publish to Adobe Stock or any other social media such as YouTube, Facebook, Vimeo, Twitter, Stock, and Behance, an error Not logged in appears.

This issue appears regardless of sign-in status in export or share settings.

Workaround

For publishing destinations such as YouTube, Facebook, Vimeo, Twitter, Stock, and Behance, Adobe saves your account credentials as tokens in Keychain Access (Mac) or Credential Manager (Windows).

To retain your login state, do the following:

On Mac

  1. Navigate to Applications > Utilities > Keychain Access.

  2. Search for passwords that start with com.adobe.publish.token.

    Note:

Each publishing destination is suffixed with an abbrevation at the end of the name. For example, Youtube credentials are stored as com.adobe.publish.token.ytb3.

  3. Right-click the token that is not retaining its login state and select Delete from the pop-up menu.

  4. Quit Keychain Access.

  5. Restart Adobe app and sign in to the publishing destination.

On Windows

  1. Navigate to Start > Control Panel > User Accounts > Credential Manager.

  2. Switch to the Windows Credentials tab.

  3. Search for passwords that start with com.adobe.publish.token.

    Note:

Each publishing destination is suffixed with an abbrevation at the end of the name. For example, Youtube credentials are stored as com.adobe.publish.token.ytb3.

  4. Select the required token that is not retaining its login state and expand it. Click Remove.

    Note:

Some destinations have mutiple tokens. For a given destination, ensure to remove all the associated tokens.

  5. Quit Credential Manager.

  6. Restart Adobe app and sign in to the publishing destination.
