Self-cancel your membership

How you cancel your membership depends on how you purchased it.

Purchased from Adobe

If you purchased your Creative Cloud subscription directly from Adobe, you can self-cancel your subscription online at any time.

  1. Sign in to your Adobe ID account with your Adobe ID and password.

    Your Adobe ID is the email address you used when you signed up for your membership.

  2. Under Plans & Products, click Manage plan for the plan you want to cancel.

  3. Under Plan details, click Cancel plan and follow the on-screen instructions to proceed further.

  4. Indicate the reason that you want to cancel the plan and click Continue or Keep my plan.

  5. Follow the on screen instructions to keep your current plan, chat with customer support, or cancel your plan.

  6. If you cancel your plan, you will receive an email confirming the cancelation. To start a Creative Cloud plan again, visit the Creative Cloud plans page.

If you cancel an annual membership (paid monthly) within 14 days of your order, you will receive a full refund.  Should you cancel after 14 days, you’ll be charged 50% of your remaining contract obligation and your service will continue until the end of that month’s billing period.

If you cancel an annual membership (prepaid) within 14 days of your order, you will receive a full refund.  Should you cancel after 14 days, your payment is non-refundable and your service will continue under the end of your contracted term.

If you cancel a month-to-month membership within 14 days of your order, you will receive a full refund.  Should you cancel after 14 days, your payment is non-refundable and your service will continue until the end of that month’s billing period.

The refund only applies for 14 days after the original purchase, not for subsequent renewals.

Purchased from Amazon, iTunes, Best Buy, or other reseller

If you purchased your membership from a seller other than Adobe, contact the seller for assistance.

Extended your original membership?

If you extended your membership by providing payment details to Adobe, you may be able to cancel your membership online. Follow the steps below under Purchased from Adobe. If you do not see an option to cancel your plan, then contact us to cancel.

Complimentary membership

You cannot cancel a complimentary membership during the complimentary period. If you do not want to continue the membership after the complimentary period ends, but you provided payment details when you redeemed the membership, contact us to cancel the renewal.

If you did not add payment details when you redeemed the complimentary membership, your membership expires at the end of the complimentary period.
