CQ5.3: Thumbnails stop showing in the Content Finder and DAM Admin

Issue

Thumbnails do not show up in DAM UI and they do not show up in the Content Finder. Or, if you are using the ThumbnailServlet in your application then thumbnails don't show up in your site.

Cause

This is caused by a bug in the ThumbnailServlet.

Resolution

Submit a daycare ticket and request hotfix 30474.
